Before you buy

This seals with heat and nothing else — it does not draw air out, so it will not compress a bag the way our vacuum storage bags with hand pump do. The heated bar is 95 mm, so anything wider than that needs two overlapping presses rather than one. And because it works by melting the bag shut, it suits plastic and foil-lined plastic pouches rather than paper, and each reseal costs you a little bag height.
