Nine bags in three sizes that compress bedding and jumpers with the vacuum cleaner you already own.
The sizing is what usually goes wrong with vacuum bags — people buy one size and find half of it useless. This set covers three. Small takes six to eight jumpers or towels. Medium takes eight to ten jumpers, or one to two winter coats. Large takes ten to twelve jumpers, or bulky items like curtains and pillows.
Each bag closes with a double zip rather than a single track, then seals through a triple-seal valve. The valve is the part that decides whether a bag is still flat in six months or slowly puffed back up; this one holds a vacuum across a season with only minor loss, and re-vacuuming takes seconds if it does soften. A stay-on clip is fixed to the zip so it cannot go missing in a drawer and leave you with an unusable bag.
The film is a PA and PE laminate with a textured inner surface, which lets air escape from the middle of a tightly packed bag instead of sealing off at the edges and trapping a pocket.

Before you buy
There is no hand pump in this set — you need a vacuum cleaner with a hose, so it is not the right choice for travelling. Compression is also not suitable for everything: leather, and natural fibres like down, wool and cashmere, should be stored loosely rather than vacuumed, as prolonged compression flattens the loft and can set creases.
